The beginning of the production of Swedish vodka dates back to the 15th century – it was then that the Scandinavians began to produce the drink “Branvin”, the name of which translates as “fire wine”. Subsequently, the distilled alcohol, called vodka, was used as a medicinal product, and in the 17th century, vodka became the national Swedish drink.<\/p>\n
The history of Absolut goes back 130 years – the first bottle of Absolut was released in 1879. It was then that the entrepreneur Lars Olsson Smith introduced a new type of vodka, Absolut rent Br\u00e4nvin, which translates as “absolutely pure vodka.” This innovative product was distinguished from others by its revolutionary production technology, which was based on continuous distillation, which made it possible to clean the product from unnecessary impurities as best as possible and preserve its natural character.
