Tombacco Winery is located in the small Italian town of Trebazelege near Venice, Padua and Treviso – in the heart of the D.O.C. and I.G.T. Triveneto regions. This area is rich in rivers and sheltered from the wind by mountains, although it is very close to the sea. In such conditions, the earth generously fills the body of the wine, giving it color and special elegance.
The winery began its history as a farm that specialized in the sale of fruit. But in 1919, its owners decided to master winemaking and the wine market. So the company established its own vineyards and started wine production.
Later, Tombacco expanded its activities to other regions of Italy. The company began to buy wine from other winemakers, age it independently, blend it, bring it to the highest quality and bottle it with its own label.
Over the years, Tombacco has kept up with the times, using the most advanced technologies to improve production. The winery uses an innovative system of winemaking and viticulture. A team of winemakers and agronomists constantly monitors the microbiological, chemical and organoleptic parameters of the product. Following the trends of the times and the ever-increasing demands of consumers, Tombacco launched its own large-scale wine bottling plant. This step became a new stage in the development of the company and the establishment of Tombacco wines on the world market.
